Bharat Bill Payment System (BBPS) is a one stop solution for recurring bill payment driven by NPCI and RBI. It enables to consumer to make their any type of bills (Gas, School Fess, Electricity, etc.) payment with multiple digital channel, modes and offline channels such as Cash, Cards (Credit, Debit & Prepaid), IMPS, UPI, AEPS, Internet Banking & UPI, Wallets, ATM, POS, KIOSK, etc.

How does BBPS help to Educational Institutes?

Usually, guardian/parent needs to visit the establishment campus to pay any type fees which is very painful and time consuming in this busy life and due to it, payments get delay. To get rid of from such delay and make hassle free 24x7x365 fees collection service or online fees payment, educational institutes have to onboard as a biller on BBPS then after, parent can pay from anywhere & anytime via UPI, digital and offline channels.

How to list Institute as biller on BBPS?

BBPS does not allow to onboard any individual education institution as a biller, so need to follow below steps:

1. Contact to financial institution or bill aggregator
2. Provide KYC document & Fill the form
3. Wait 2 to 5 business days to setup ERP & BBPS
4. Now, institute is available for online transaction

How does guardian/parent can make fees payment?

• Open any BBPS supported “online fee payment app” such as Phonepe, freecharge, etc.
• On clicking ‘Education Fees’ option
• Select “state” -> “city” and click on “continue”
• Look for institution name and select
• Enter student admission number/ roll number/ hall ticket number/ mobile number
• Verify outstanding amount and make payment
